JARED MICHAEL FRY

Emmy-nominated composer Jared Fry has lent his music expertise to a plethora of film and television productions ranging from blockbuster action films to nature documentary TV series. Jared creates versatile and bold scores that elevate the cinematic experience. An expert at action & symphonic scores, Jared is also a skilled multi-instrumentalist playing guitars, synthesizers, and programming drums to create epic and noteworthy percussions.

Jared’s recent solo project is Streetlight Films’ Safe House directed by Paul Street Won the Audience Award for “Best Feature Film” at the Marina Del Rey Film Festival. He also recently created the textured, melodic, and acoustic score for the short film To the Muse which was nominated for Best Short at the Orlando Film Festival in addition to screening in competition at the Oaxaca Film Festival, Four Corners Film Festival, and Denver Film Festival.

Jared frequently collaborates with several award-winning composers including Joseph Trapanese, Benjamin Wallfisch, Steve Jablonsky, and Michael Yezerski contributing additional music to hit films such as IT Chapter 2, Robin Hood, Hellboy, Berlin Station 3, and Transformers: The Last Night.

Previously working as a staff composer for Hans Zimmer’s Bleeding Fingers Music, Jared earned a 2019 News and Documentary Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music and Sound for his score for BBC and PBS’s critically acclaimed nature series Super Cats. He also worked on Planet Earth II which was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Music.

Known for his creativity and drive to push the boundaries of music and sound design, Jared also collaborates with World Renowned recording artists on their record albums. He’s currently collaborating with Empire of the Sun front man Luke Steele on exciting new music that blends Jared’s dramatic orchestral music with their pop electronic sound.
